AN ACT TO Repeal submission of GIGLIO DISCLOSURE NOTIFICATIONS.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
SECTION 1. G.S. 17C‑16 and G.S. 17E‑16 are repealed.
SECTION 2. Any notifications received by the Criminal Justice Standards Division and Justice Officers' Standards Division as provided in G.S. 17C‑16 and G.S. 17E‑16 shall be destroyed within 60 days of the effective date of this law.
SECTION 3. This act is effective when it becomes law.
