AN ACT to appropriate funds for the construction of a new health science expansion and simulation laboratory at the college of the albemarle.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Community Colleges System Office for the 2023‑2024 school year the sum of twelve million five hundred thousand dollars ($12,500,000) in nonrecurring funds to be allocated to the College of the Albemarle for the construction and furnishing of a new Health Science Expansion and Simulation Laboratory at the community college.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2023.
