AN ACT to appropriate funds for guilford technical community college for its North carolina federation of advanced manufacturing education (NC FAME) program.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Community Colleges System Office the sum of nine million dollars ($9,000,000) in nonrecurring funds to be allocated to Guilford Technical Community College to support its North Carolina Federation of Advanced Manufacturing Education (NC FAME) program. These funds shall be used to pay for lab space, equipment, and faculty.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2023.
