AN ACT to appropriate funds to the alliance of disability advocates to be used to purchase adaptive exercise equipment.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State Budget and Management the sum of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2023‑2024 fiscal year to provide a directed grant to the Alliance of Disability Advocates, a nonprofit corporation, to be used to purchase adaptive exercise equipment. No more than five thousand dollars ($5,000) of these funds may be expended on any single piece of adaptive equipment.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2023.
