AN ACT to appropriate funds for park development and maintenance in the Town of spring Lake.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  The sum of two million dollars ($2,000,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2023‑2024 fiscal year is appropriated from the General Fund to the Town of Spring Lake. These funds shall be used for development of new parks, for construction of improvements at new and existing parks, and for maintenance and upkeep of existing parks.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2023.
