AN ACT to appropriate funds for wastewater and water infrastructure improvements in the Town of Spring Lake.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  The sum of three million dollars ($3,000,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2023‑2024 fiscal year is appropriated from the General Fund to the Town of Spring Lake. These funds shall be used for upgrades and repairs to the Town's wastewater treatment plant and for repair or replacement of drinking water lines.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2023.
