AN ACT to require a photograph on handicapped placards issued by the division of motor vehicles.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  G.S. 20‑37.5(4) reads as rewritten:

(4)      Removable windshield placard means a two‑sided, hooked placard which includes on each side:

e.         A color photograph of the person to whom the placard is issued.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective October 1, 2023.
