AN ACT to appropriate funds for the north carolina troopers association caisson unit.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Public Safety, State Highway Patrol Division, the sum of two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2023‑2024 fiscal year to be allocated as a directed grant to the North Carolina Troopers Association Caisson Unit, Inc., a nonprofit corporation, to be used for the upkeep and maintenance of its facilities, vehicles, and teams of horses.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2023.
