AN ACT To restore funding for classroom supplies.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Public Instruction the sum of eighty‑two million three hundred forty‑seven thousand twenty‑eight dollars ($82,347,028) in recurring funds for the classroom materials/instructional supplies/equipment allotment.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2023.
