AN ACT to appropriate additional funds to the North Carolina Agricultural Development and Farmland Preservation Trust Fund.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.(a)  The sum of two hundred fifty million dollars ($250,000,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2023‑2024 fiscal year is appropriated from the General Fund to the North Carolina Agricultural Development and Farmland Preservation Trust Fund established in G.S. 106‑744.

SECTION 1.(b)  Funds appropriated by this section shall be used only for the purposes set forth in subdivisions (1) and (3) of subsection (c) of G.S. 106‑744.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2023.
