AN ACT to appropriate funds to the department of public safety for the town of greenville to repair and replace the greenville town common bulkhead.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Public Safety the nonrecurring sum of ten million dollars ($10,000,000) for the 2023‑2024 fiscal year to be allocated to the City of Greenville to match funds from the City to repair and replace the Greenville Town Common bulkhead to improve the City's resiliency to flooding events.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2023.
