AN ACT to APPROPRIATE funds to prospera, a nonprofit organization.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Commerce the nonrecurring sum of three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) for the 2023‑2024 fiscal year to be allocated as a directed grant to Prospera, an economic development nonprofit organization, to provide in‑culture and in‑language business consulting and educational services.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2023.
