AN ACT to provide funds for renovation and construction at ashley elementary school.



The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:



SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Public Instruction the sum of thirty‑five million dollars ($35,000,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2023‑2024 fiscal year to be allocated to Winston‑Salem/Forsyth County Schools for renovation and construction costs at Ashley Elementary School.



SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2023.
