AN ACT to repeal the authorizations for the state board of elections to participate in the electronic registration information center.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  Section 18.2 of S.L. 2013‑381 is repealed.

SECTION 2.  Section 26.1(4) of S.L. 2022‑74 is repealed.

SECTION 3.  Section 26.3 of S.L. 2022‑74 is repealed.

SECTION 4.  The State Board of Elections may not enter into any agreement, membership, or other participation in the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC) unless approved by an act of the General Assembly.

SECTION 5.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
