H390: FSU Carryforward Certain Funds. Latest Version
Session: 2023 - 2024
AN ACT to permit certain funds appropriated to fayetteville state university to be carried forward through the end of the 2023‑2025 fiscal biennium.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, of the two million five hundred thousand dollars ($2,500,000) in nonrecurring funds allocated from the State Capital and Infrastructure Fund to the Board of Governors of The University of North Carolina for Fayetteville State University (FSU) for the 2022‑2023 fiscal year, as follows, any unexpended funds remaining at the end of the 2022‑2023 fiscal year shall not revert but shall remain available until the end of the 2023‑2025 fiscal biennium:
(1) One million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) for the FSU Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Training Program.
(2) One million dollars ($1,000,000) for the FSU Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub.
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective June 30, 2023.
