AN ACT to appropriate funds for various projects in the town of mocksville.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State Budget and Management the sum of four million eight hundred thousand dollars ($4,800,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2023‑2024 fiscal year to provide a directed grant to the Town of Mocksville for the following purposes:

(1)        $1,500,000 for strategic downtown expansion.

(2)        $1,000,000 for historic infrastructure improvements.

(3)        $1,200,000 for the downtown farmer's market.

(4)        $1,100,000 for a 12‑foot water main extension to serve a 500,000‑gallon elevated tank.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2023.
