AN ACT to appropriate funds for the restoration of two historic water towers in the GLENCOE mill village.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State Budget and Management the sum of one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2023‑2024 fiscal year to provide a directed grant to The Historic Preservation Foundation of North Carolina, Inc., a nonprofit organization, for the preservation of two historic water towers in the Glencoe Mill Village.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2023.
