AN ACT to appropriate funds to improve pedestrian safety in the town of davidson.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State Budget and Management the sum of six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2023‑2024 fiscal year to provide a directed grant to the Town of Davidson to improve pedestrian safety, which includes providing enhanced crosswalks, installing flashing beacons, and raising and/or widening sidewalks at various locations throughout the Town.
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2023.
