SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 221

A JOINT RESOLUTION providing for the confirmation of Theresa B. Stephenson to the Board of Review.

Whereas, the provisions of G.S. 96‑15.3(c) require appointments of the Governor to the Board of Review to be confirmed by the General Assembly by joint resolution; and

Whereas, the Governor wishes to reappoint Theresa B. Stephenson to the Board of Review as the member representing the general public; Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

SECTION 1.  The appointment of Theresa B. Stephenson of Wake County to membership on the Board of Review as the member representing the general public for a term beginning July 1, 2023, and ending June 30, 2027, is confirmed.

SECTION 2.  This resolution is effective upon ratification.
