SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 220
A JOINT RESOLUTION providing for the confirmation of Philip A. Baddour, III, to the north carolina industrial commission.
Whereas, G.S. 97‑77(a1) provides that appointments by the Governor to the North Carolina Industrial Commission are subject to confirmation by the General Assembly; and
Whereas, the Governor wishes to reappoint Philip A. Baddour, III, to the North Carolina Industrial Commission; Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:
SECTION 1. The appointment of Philip A. Baddour, III, to the North Carolina Industrial Commission for a term beginning May 1, 2023, and expiring April 30, 2027, is confirmed.
SECTION 2. This resolution is effective upon ratification.
In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 25th day of May, 2023.
