AN ACT to appropriate funds to purchase emergency tracking radios for the johnston county water rescue teams.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State Budget and Management the sum of two hundred twenty‑two thousand seven hundred fifty dollars ($222,750) in nonrecurring funds for the 2023‑2024 fiscal year to provide a directed grant to Johnston County for the purchase of 24 APX NEXT EX Emergency Tracking Radios for the County's water rescue teams.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2023.
