AN ACT to EXTEND EXPIRATION OF LEVEL 2 LIMITED PROVISIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENT MODIFICATION.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  Section 2 of S.L. 2021‑24, as amended by S.L. 2021‑134, reads as rewritten:

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law and applies to applications for licenses submitted on or after that date. Section 1 of this act expires on December 31, 2022. However, the requirements of G.S. 20‑11(d)(1), as amended by this act, apply to any person applying for a limited provisional license after December 31, 2022, if that person met the requirements of G.S. 20‑11(d)(2) through G.S. 20‑11(d)(5) prior to December 31, 2022.

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
