SENATE BILL 179

AN ACT to extend the authorization for buncombe county to construct community college buildings on the campuses of Asheville‑buncombe technical community college within the county and to extend the sunset on the suspension of the charter of the TOWN OF SPENCER MOUNTAIN.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  Section 4 of S.L. 2013‑112, as amended by Section 1 of S.L. 2018‑115, reads as rewritten:

SECTION 4.  This act is effective when it becomes law and applies only to construction projects and renovations funded entirely with county funds and coordinated by the County for College uses and purposes between January 1, 2012, and December 31, 2023.2028.

SECTION 2.  Section 3 of S.L. 2016‑45, as amended by Section 1 of S.L. 2019‑29, reads as rewritten:

SECTION 3.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2016, and expires June 30, 2023.June 30, 2026.

SECTION 3.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
