HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 157
A JOINT RESOLUTION inviting his excellency, governor Roy Cooper, to address a joint session of the House of representatives and senate.
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
SECTION 1. A committee of six Representatives and six Senators shall be appointed by the presiding officers of the respective houses to invite His Excellency, Governor Roy Cooper, to address a joint session of the House of Representatives and the Senate in the Hall of the House of Representatives at 7:00 P.M. on March 6, 2023.
SECTION 2. The members of The Honorable Roy Cooper's cabinet, the members of the Council of State, the Justices of the Supreme Court, and the judges of the Court of Appeals are invited to attend the joint session.
SECTION 3. This resolution is effective upon ratification.
In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 1st day of March, 2023.
