AN ACT to appropriate funds for the city of greenville's TOWN Common Bulkhead Project.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State Budget and Management the sum of twenty‑five million dollars ($25,000,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2023‑2024 fiscal year to provide a directed grant to the City of Greenville to design and construct a new bulkhead along the city's waterway. The new bulkhead is needed to help mitigate flooding at the Greenville Town Common.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2023.
