SENATE BILL 126

AN ACT to authorize the city of asheville to use proceeds from on‑street parking meters to fund capital projects.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.(a)  In addition to the uses authorized under G.S. 160A‑301(a), a municipality may use the proceeds from parking meters on public streets to fund any capital projects.

SECTION 1.(b)  This act applies to the City of Asheville only.

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
