AN ACT to appropriate funds to plan and construct a new fire station in the city of farmville.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State Budget and Management the sum of seven million dollars ($7,000,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2023‑2024 fiscal year to provide a directed grant to the City of Farmville to plan and construct a new fire station to effectively serve the City's residents.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2023.
