AN ACT to appropriate funds for a regional firing range facility operated by alamance community college.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Community Colleges System Office the sum of five million three hundred twenty thousand dollars ($5,320,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2023‑2024 fiscal year to be allocated to Alamance Community College to build a regional indoor firing range as part of the college's Public Safety Training Center. The firing range will provide a venue for pistol and rifle training for students and law enforcement personnel.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2023.
