AN ACT to appropriate funds for various public projects in bermuda run.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State Budget and Management the sum of five million nine hundred thousand dollars ($5,900,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2023‑2024 fiscal year to provide a directed grant to the Town of Bermuda Run for the following projects:

(1)        $500,000 for stormwater, drainage, and flooding enhancements.

(2)        $750,000 for Gateway Entrance/Wayfinding Signage and Memorial Flag Project.

(3)        $3,200,000 for Phases II and III of the Blue Heron Trail.

(4)        $500,000 for the Yadkin River Blue Water Trail Access Head at Truist Park.

(5)        $200,000 for the pedestrian interconnectivity to Atrium/Baptist Health.

(6)        $750,000 for the development of a Farmers Market at Town Green.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2023.
