SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 54

A JOINT RESOLUTION confirming the governor's reappointment of katherine m.r. bosken to the office of commissioner of BANKS.

Whereas, under the provisions of G.S. 53C‑2‑2(a), appointment by the Governor of the Commissioner of Banks is subject to confirmation by the General Assembly by joint resolution; and

Whereas, the term of the Commissioner of Banks, Katherine M.R. Bosken, expires March 31, 2023; and

Whereas, the Governor wishes to reappoint Katherine M.R. Bosken to the office of Commissioner of Banks to serve until March 31, 2027; and

Whereas, the Governor has submitted the name of Katherine M.R. Bosken to the General Assembly as required by G.S. 53C‑2‑2(a); Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

SECTION 1.  The appointment of Katherine M.R. Bosken of Wake County as Commissioner of Banks for a term beginning April 1, 2023, and expiring March 31, 2027, is confirmed.

SECTION 2.  This resolution is effective upon ratification.
