A HOUSE RESOLUTION electing Dr. Grant L. Campbell to Fill a vacancy On the state board of community colleges.

Whereas, G.S. 115D‑2.2(d) requires that vacancies on the State Board of Community Colleges be filled by the chamber originally electing the vacating member in the manner prescribed by G.S. 115D‑2.2(c) for the remainder of the unexpired term; and

Whereas, Dr. M. Lee Barnes, Jr., who was elected to serve on the State Board of Community Colleges by the House of Representatives for a term expiring June 30, 2027, is resigning from the State Board; and

Whereas, the House of Representatives may determine its own procedure; Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

SECTION 1.  Dr. Grant L. Campbell, of Cabarrus County, is elected to serve as a member on the State Board of Community Colleges for a term expiring June 30, 2027.

SECTION 2.  This resolution is effective upon adoption.
