A JOINT RESOLUTION relating to the Confirmation of NELS ROSELAND as state controller.

Whereas, under the provisions of G.S. 143B‑426.37, the appointment by the Governor of a person to be State Controller is subject to confirmation by the General Assembly; and

Whereas, the Governor has submitted to the presiding officers of the House of Representatives and the Senate the name of his appointee, Nels Roseland, to be State Controller for a term beginning July 1, 2022, and expiring June 30, 2029; Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

SECTION 1.  That the General Assembly shall hereby consider whether to confirm Nels Roseland to the Office of State Controller for a term beginning July 1, 2022, and expiring June 30, 2029.

SECTION 2.  This resolution is effective upon ratification.
