AN ACT to appropriate funds to the town of troutman for water and sewer projects.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.(a)  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Town of Troutman the sum of eleven million three hundred thousand dollars ($11,300,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2022‑2023 fiscal year to assist the Town with various upgrades and repairs to its water system, including elevation of water tank and replacement of tanks, meters, setters, valves, and water mains.

SECTION 1.(b)  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Town of Troutman the sum of nine million four hundred forty thousand nine hundred forty dollars ($9,440,940) in nonrecurring funds for the 2022‑2023 fiscal year to assist the Town with various upgrades and repairs to its sewer system, including pump station elimination and upgrades, as well as manhole rehabilitation and replacement.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2022.
