AN ACT AUTHORIZing THE TOWN of weldon to convey certain real property by private NEGOTIATION AND sale.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 12 of Chapter 160A of the General Statutes, the Town of Weldon may convey by private negotiation and sale, and upon such terms as the Town deems appropriate, any or all of its right, title, and interest in some or all of the following described property:

Starting at the right‑of‑way of Atlantic Coast Line Railroad located at the northern boundary of West 3rd Street following north to the boundary of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad then left along the Northeastern boundary of Halifax County Parcel Number 1202796 then right along the boundary of Parcel Number 1205005 owned by the Town of Weldon to the intersection with East 1st Street, then easterly along the right‑of‑way of East 1st Street, then north along Sycamore Street, then east along the boundary of tract owned by 51 Sycamore (Parcel Number 1200158) to the boundary of the right‑of‑way of US Highway 301, then southerly along US Highway 301 to the intersection with East 1st Street, continuing westerly to a left on the Eastern boundary of Parcel Number 1200095, follow the boundary of Parcel Number 1200095 back to East 1st Street, then left to the intersection with Sycamore Street, then southerly to intersection with East 3rd Street, then westerly along the southern boundary of East 3rd Street, then left on the Eastern boundary of Parcel Number 1200025 and 1201603 to East 4th Street, then westerly along West 4th Street, then northerly along Elm Street, then continue on West 3rd Street to the starting point.

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
