AN ACT to appropriate funds for the water access in the triangle regional partnership.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  The sum of thirty‑two million three hundred thousand dollars ($32,300,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2022‑2023 fiscal year is appropriated from the General Fund to the City of Sanford for design engineering and construction costs for an expansion to the City's water treatment plant to allow supply of water to other regional partners.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2022.
