AN ACT to fund mobile crisis co‑responder programs in wake county.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Abuse Services, the sum of twenty million dollars ($20,000,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2022‑2023 fiscal year to be allocated as a directed grant to Wake County to be used for its mobile crisis co‑responder programs.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2022.
