AN ACT to appropriate funds for sewer needs for the town of ELM city.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Town of Elm City the nonrecurring sum of eight million dollars ($8,000,000) for the 2022‑2023 fiscal year for costs associated with replacing the municipal sewage system. Funds appropriated in this act do not revert but remain available to the Town for the purposes allowed in this act.

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
