AN ACT to appropriate funds for the Pitt County‑Greenville Passenger Rail Service Feasibility Study.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the Highway Fund to the North Carolina Rail Division the sum of one hundred twenty‑five thousand dollars ($125,000) for the 2022‑2023 fiscal year in nonrecurring funds for the Pitt County‑Greenville Passenger Rail Service Feasibility Study. These funds shall only be used if Pitt County and the City of Greenville contribute the remainder of the funds necessary to complete the study.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2022.
