AN ACT to appropriate funds to the town of hillsborough to update the TOWN'S water distribution and wastewater collection system.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Town of Hillsborough the sum of twelve million dollars ($12,000,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2022‑2023 fiscal year to update the Town's water distribution and wastewater collection system, which includes the installation of a new pump station and replacement of aging collection pipes.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2022.
