AN ACT to appropriate funds to the Juneberry Ridge Educational Foundation for a regenerative agriculture educational pilot program.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Juneberry Ridge Educational Foundation, a nonprofit corporation, the nonrecurring sum of two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for the 2022‑2023 fiscal year. The Foundation shall use these funds for an agricultural education pilot program focusing on regenerative agriculture, or permaculture, in a small community environment.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2022.
