AN ACT to clarify the recipient of funds allocated in the budget intended for capital expenditures at the iredell county fairgrounds.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  Section 40.17(a) of S.L. 2021‑180, as enacted by Section 9.1(d) of S.L. 2021‑189, and amended in Section 18.1 of S.L. 2022‑6, is amended by adding a new subdivision to read:

(58)    The funds for Kiwanis Club of Statesville in the sum of five million dollars ($5,000,000) shall instead be granted to Iredell County for capital improvements at the Iredell County fairgrounds.

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
