AN ACT to appropriate funds for the design and construction of a new facility for the grimesland volunteer fire department.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the State Capital and Infrastructure Fund to the Office of State Budget and Management the sum of four million five hundred thousand dollars ($4,500,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2022‑2023 fiscal year to be provided as a grant to the Grimesland Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., a nonprofit corporation, for the design and construction of a new fire department facility.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2022.
