HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 1021
A JOINT RESOLUTION to confirm the appointment of Myra L. Griffin to the north carolina industrial commission.
Whereas, G.S. 97‑77(a1) provides that appointments by the Governor to the North Carolina Industrial Commission are subject to confirmation by the General Assembly; and
Whereas, the Governor wishes to reappoint Myra L. Griffin to the North Carolina Industrial Commission; Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
SECTION 1. The appointment of Myra L. Griffin of Durham County to a term on the North Carolina Industrial Commission, beginning July 1, 2022, and expiring June 30, 2028, is confirmed.
SECTION 2. This resolution is effective upon ratification.
In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 30th day of June, 2022.
