AN ACT to provide funding for revitalization of certain blighted communities.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the City of Wilson the nonrecurring sum of fifty million dollars ($50,000,000) for the 2022‑2023 fiscal year to be used for the revitalization of blighted communities in the eastern portion of the city.

SECTION 2.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the City of Goldsboro the nonrecurring sum of fifty million dollars ($50,000,000) for the 2022‑2023 fiscal year to be used for the revitalization of blighted communities in the city.

SECTION 3.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Town of Mt. Olive the nonrecurring sum of fifty million dollars ($50,000,000) for the 2022‑2023 fiscal year to be used for the revitalization of blighted communities in the town.

SECTION 4.  Funds appropriated in this act do not revert but remain available for the purposes allowed in this act.

SECTION 5.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
