AN ACT to appropriate funds to increase the administrative rate for foster care and adoption assistance.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Social Services, the sum of nine hundred thirty‑eight thousand three hundred sixty‑four dollars ($938,364) in recurring funds for the 2022‑2023 fiscal year to implement, with the associated county and federal shares, an increase to the administrative rate for foster care and adoption assistance.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2022.
