SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 730

 

 

A JOINT RESOLUTION Confirming Katherine M.R. Bosken as Commissioner of Banks.

 

Whereas, under the provisions of G.S. 53C‑2‑2(a), appointment by the Governor of the Commissioner of Banks is subject to confirmation by the General Assembly by joint resolution; and

Whereas, the former Commissioner of Banks, Raymond E. Grace, retired effective July 1, 2021; and

Whereas, the Governor has submitted the name of Katherine M.R. Bosken to the presiding officers of the Senate and the House of Representatives to fill the unexpired term of the Commissioner of Banks; Now, therefore,

 

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

 

SECTION 1.  The appointment of Katherine M.R. Bosken of Wake County as Commissioner of Banks for the remainder of the term expiring March 31, 2023, is confirmed.

SECTION 2.  This resolution is effective upon ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 1st day of September, 2021.
