AN ACT to appropriate FUNDS to enable the high point market authority to expand and enhance public health and safety measures for conducting shows during the pandemic.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Commerce the sum of one million five hundred ten thousand dollars ($1,510,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2021‑2022 fiscal year to be allocated to the High Point International Furnishings Market Authority Corporation to expand and enhance public health and safety measures to enable the High Point Furniture Market to conduct international shows during the COVID‑19 pandemic.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2021.
