AN ACT to provide funds for a water infrastructure project in Transylvania county.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Environmental Quality the sum of one million two hundred thousand dollars ($1,200,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2021‑2022 fiscal year to be allocated to the Division of Water Infrastructure to provide a grant to Transylvania County for the installation of water infrastructure along and in the vicinity of U.S. Highway 64 in and west of Brevard in Transylvania County.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2021.
