AN ACT appropriating funds to the town of holly springs to restore trees in the Town's public spaces.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Town of Holly Springs the sum of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2021‑2022 fiscal year for planting trees in the Town's public spaces, including public rights‑of‑way, sidewalks, and Town greenways, to replenish trees lost to rapid growth and development.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2021.
