AN ACT to appropriate funds for remediation and infrastructure improvements related to asbestos contamination in the town of DavidsoN.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  The sum of three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) in nonrecurring funds for the 2021‑2022 fiscal year is allocated to the Office of State Budget and Management to provide a grant to the Town of Davidson for remediation, removal, and surrounding infrastructure improvements associated with asbestos contamination in the Town.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2021.
